Our Regional Manager and Social Media Manager, Caitlin Safchik has started working with Humanity and Hope. This organization helps people in Honduras overcome challenges and grow to become their best. They work hand-in-hand with people to get clean water, create jobs, and create access to education.
Caitlin has made a personal challenge to raise enough money to create jobs for those living in a village in Honduras, the village of La Cuchilla. This village has 27 families in 20 small homes. Currently, they have no jobs, no access to education and they all share one well to obtain water, which must be boiled in order to be safe to drink.
Caitlin is on a mission to raise $16,000 for the people of La Cuchilla so they can provide for themselves and their families. While working towards her goal, she has organized a shop for a cause event, exclusive to Aspen Tan members! On Sunday, September 10 she will be hosting a jewelry trunk show from 11AM – 1PM at our Hill location. 15% of all sales will be going directly to Humanity & Hope. Join us for tanning, shopping and giving back!
